ERIBA is part of the large Hymer group. ERIBA touring caravans were launched in 1960 and set a new standard for small, compact, lightweight caravans with practical furnishing and a high-quality interior. The design was unique when conceived using a strong lightweight tubular steel structure which ERIBA have continued to use until the present day. The Puck was the first model to be launched with its distinctive trademark pop-top lifting roof; and it was in production for almost 50 years. The other Touring models, Familia, Triton and Troll continue in production with styling that is instantly recognisable as an ERIBA caravan. ERIBA Touring caravans are still considered to be the benchmark by which other small, lightweight caravans are judged. The Touring range styling may be considered traditional, and possibly a little old fashioned, never the less the popularity of ERIBA Touring caravans is undiminished with second hand models much sought after.
