Cracks cannot be repaired and for this reason owners will normally want a window replaced. Small cracks are likely to propagate into larger cracks and the process cannot be arrested. Cracked windows are normally replaced.
Can be caused by the use of an inappropriate cleaning fluid. Signs of crazing will not appear immediately. Crazing is usually unsightly and can obscure the outside view but it cannot be rectified. Crazing does not weaken the double-glazed unit and is not alone a reason why a window should be replaced.
Under normal circumstances double-glazed acrylic windows can suffer minimal condensation in the unit. Acrylic is to some degree hygroscopic which means that under certain conditions moisture will slowly permeate through the acrylic into the double-glazed cavity. Condensation will clear naturally from the unit, however, excessive condensation may be a sign that that the edge bonding of the unit could be delaminating and should be carefully inspected.
If the inner and outer panels of a double-glazed unit start to delaminate this will usually be associated with a significant increase in condensation in the unit, or water may settle in the bottom of the unit. Delamination is a serious fault and is usually progressive and can lead to the outer panel detaching whilst driving. Windows that are showing limited signs of delamination can be made safe by drilling and plugging the window in each of the corners. However, plugging will not stop the delamination progressing and condensation increasing.

Just a quick note to say thank you for the efficient service I received at your premises when I brought my Burstner caravan in for what I thought would be three new windows. In the event, I had six new windows fitted in next to no time. I was back home by lunchtime. I can’t recall the names of the two men who did the work but they will know who they were. They were friendly and helpful, sorting out new window stays and catches as required and even to the extent of helping me to manhandle the caravan out of your premises after some kind soul had parked at the back of me, making it impossible to leave.
